Media lesson post 1 (What we did in lesson)

Planning

For this lesson we began to plan for our upcoming coursework on creating a title sequence for a film. For this we decided to pick the group of me,Terry, Lauren and Louis. For the title sequence we decided to to finalise our options from a desolation type film where a teenager is left stranded on his own where no one else is near to help him to a zombie survival horror.We decided to change this so the majority of the group could act.We started to plan our film and came up with the idea that three teenagers should leave the town and then come back to realise there has been a zombie Apocalypse.After planning this idea we had to develop it into a simple power point explaining who would play the key protagonists and who would direct it.We decided to have Quentin Tarantino directing the film and the film would have a slight twist of dark humour to it and the sadistic styling of Quentin Tarantino and the blood and gore he adds to his pieces of work would be ideal.

After we had pitched our idea to the class we let them decide what name was best out of the ones which we had displayed.One of out teachers shortly recommended our idea of "A zombie movie" which was our final title this was shortly followed by the comment of "It should have a twist of dark humour".When we asked for the reason the teacher responded with a simple repose that the title is simplistic therefore, should have a simplistic feel to the film.The class was in mutual agreement and we decided on our name.
